Constructed of maroon rayon, the obverse featuring a Latvian national shield executed with white machine embroidery, topped by a black bar bearing yellow machine embroidered inscription of LATVIJA, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a documented variant of domestic manufacture produced by Lenta, Riga, measuring 55 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), a rare variant, in uniform removed and extremely
